What you'll receive

  1. 1

    Crystal-clear acrylic face

1/4 inch acrylic bonded to the front of the artwork. It deepens the colours and gives the image a glow, like looking through still water.

  2. 2

    Mark's photograph

Printed in B.C. from Mark's original high-resolution file, and checked by him before it ships.

  3. 3

    Rigid backing

An aluminum composite panel keeps the artwork perfectly flat. It won't warp or sag over the years.

  4. 4

    Frame on the back

An aluminum frame with two small hanging pieces attached. Hang it on two nails and it is up.

Checked by the artist

Mark inspects every piece by hand before it ships.

Printed and assembled in B.C.

Made to order in British Columbia.

Made to last

UV stabilizers in the adhesive help prevent yellowing over time.

No glass to break

Acrylic is shatter-resistant, safer around children and pets and in an earthquake.

Questions

Anything else? Email Mark at markbowenvan@gmail.com.

Which material should I choose?

Acrylic has a three-dimensional look and is the higher-resolution option. Aluminum offers a similar look with less glare, which suits bright rooms, but it is heavier. Pricing is about the same.

Is it difficult to hang?

No. Each piece has an aluminum frame on the back with two small hanging pieces attached. Hang it on two nails in the wall.

How do I clean it?

Dust it with a dry microfibre cloth. For marks, use a little water on the cloth. Avoid glass cleaner and paper towels, which can scratch the surface.

How long does it take to arrive?

Each piece is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks and delivery about another week. Shipping is added at checkout: these are heavy pieces, professionally packed and insured. If you are in Europe, email Mark at markbowenvan@gmail.com and he will calculate the shipping for you.

Can I see the work in person?

Yes, by appointment only. Email Mark at markbowenvan@gmail.com to arrange a visit to his Vancouver gallery.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes. Email your wall measurements and Mark will tell you what is possible and quote it.

Is it signed?

Yes. Mark signs the back of every piece.

Can I return it?

Every piece is made to order, so we do not accept returns. If you are unsure about size or finish, email Mark at markbowenvan@gmail.com before you order and he will help you choose.
